About the Event

Every day from Oct 30 - Nov 3 TRECSA will be taking donations for Stuff the Bus 2023. The bus will be on the Capilano University main campus in the Cedar Courtyard from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.! 

What is Stuff the Bus?

Stuff the Bus is an annual charity drive hosted by TRECSA, in partnership with Discover Canada Tours. Students, faculty, and the Greater 

Vancouver community are invited to come out and help us fill the bus with essential everyday supplies. All proceeds will be donated to Covenant House Vancouver.

About TRECSA

TRECSA is the student association that represents all students in the School of Tourism Management and Outdoor Recreation at Capilano University. It is a professional organization run completely by students, for students. We hope to create awareness and educate others about the importance of tourism in Vancouver and across British Columbia

About Covenant House:

Covenant House Vancouver is a non-profit charitable organization that exists for those whom there is often no one else. Young people aged 16-25 who have either willingly fled physical, emotional, and/or sexual abuse or those who have been forced from their homes. Covenant House relies on the generosity of over 50,000 individuals and organizations to provide shelter, food, clothing and counseling to thousands of young people each year.

What Can You Donate?

-Clean and undamaged clothing 

-Winter jackets and outerwear 

-Professional attire 

-New socks and underwear 

-Footwear

-Household items 

-Bedding 

-Gently-used kitchenware 

-Unused and unopened hygiene products 

-Nonperishable food items
