About the Event
Join us for our annual World Tourism Day panelist event! This years event will be hosted once again at the BlueShore Financial Centre for the Performing Arts at Capilano University. This event attarcts over 200 students and faculty from the Capilano School of Tourism, and invited guests from tourism and hospitality institutions across the lower mainland.
This is a Q&A style event led by a student moderator who asks questions about the tourism and hospitality industry, and provokes conversation amongst the panelists to share insight and bring value to our students' education. The theme for this year's World Tourism Day, selected by the UNWTO is “Tourism & Green Investments”. We hope through this event, our students are able to learn beyond the classroom and gain an understanding on changing trends and patterns from industry professionals.
